Service Description

Our evening yoga classes blend a variety of gentle, soul-nourishing styles to guide you into a peaceful, slow-paced flow. As you stretch and release the day’s tension, immerse yourself in the serene beauty of our surroundings, watching the sun set from our sacred yoga platform. Sip on complimentary Ayurvedic tea, deepening your sense of calm and inner balance. At Gaia Ella, we invite you to embrace a practice that nurtures your mind, body, and spirit, offering tranquility and renewal in every breath. Don't have a mat? Don't worry, we've got your covered! Our yoga classes are offered at a rate of 2500 LKR for the morning session and 3000 LKR for the evening session. We try to keep our yoga classes affordable and, if you feel called, encourage giving additional donations from the heart — all of which support Gaia Ella’s educational projects in village schools. By joining our yoga classes and making a donation, even if it’s 100 LKR, you join our karma yoga practice, nurturing your own well-being while also supporting Sri Lankan children and communities in need. Participation & Health We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe in our classes, while remembering that you know your own body best. Participation is voluntary, and you are responsible for deciding whether a class is suitable for you. If you have an injury or medical condition, are pregnant, have recently had surgery, or have another health concern, please seek medical advice before joining and let your teacher know before class. This allows them to suggest modifications where appropriate, but does not make the teacher responsible for assessing your medical fitness to practise. Yoga is a physical activity and carries some inherent risk. Please listen to your body, practise within your limits, and rest, modify or stop whenever needed. Gaia Ella, its staff and teachers cannot accept responsibility for injury, illness or other adverse effects arising from participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. Our classes support general wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. During the Class Please follow your teacher’s guidance while listening to your own body. Teachers may modify or stop a practice, or refuse participation, if they believe it would be unsafe to continue. Guests under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs cannot participate. Please wear comfortable clothing and avoid a heavy meal shortly before class. Age Regular classes are open to guests aged 16 and over. Guests aged 16 or 17 may join with parental or guardian consent. Younger children may only join by prior arrangement. Arrival Please arrive a little before the starting time. Once the class has begun, late entry is not permitted, both to avoid disruption and to ensure everyone is present for the opening guidance and warm-up. Booking & Cancellation Classes are limited to 12 participants so we can keep the practice personal and relaxed. If your plans change, please let us know as early as possible so your place can be offered to someone else. Missed reservations without prior notice may be charged in full. Part of the proceeds from every yoga class supports our local school project. Class Changes Classes may occasionally be changed, rescheduled or cancelled due to weather, teacher availability or unforeseen circumstances. We will inform booked guests as soon as possible and, where possible, offer another suitable class or date. Photography We occasionally take photos or short videos during classes. We will always ask for consent.
